How to Register and File Complaint to the Indian Prime Minister(PM)?

Do you know? If you are an Indian citizen, you can file a complaint to the Indian Prime Minister using the “PM Grievance Portal“. To do that, you have to create an account on the PM Grievance Portal also known as “CPGRAMS – Centralized Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System”.

Register an Account on Indian PM Complaint Portal

Open the PM Grievance Portal registration page where you have to fill up your personal details such as,

  • Name
  • Gender
  • Address
  • Sub-locality
  • Locality
  • Country
  • State
  • District
  • Pincode
  • Mobile Number
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Are you an Ex-Service Man
  • Security Code

Once you have filled up all the details submit the form by clicking the “Save” button. You will be redirected to the another page where you have to create a username and password. Once done, you can login to your account.

File Complaint to the Indian Prime Minister

Please note that, your complaints are not read by the Indian Prime Minister. The team organized by the Indian Prime Minister will read your complaints anf fix the issues within certain period.

The first step is login to the PM Grievance Portal. The login page will look like the below image. You have to fill up the captcha code correctly.

After successfull login, you will redirected to the dashboard where you can view “Total Grievance Registered, Number of Greivance Pending, and Number of Grievance Closed”.

You can find the below options on the sidebar,

  • Dashboard
  • Lodge Public Grievance
  • Account Activity
  • Edit Profile
  • Change Password
  • Sign Out

To file the complaint, click “Lodge Public Grievance“. Read the terms and conditions carefully and proceed further by clicking the “Submit” button.

You will be redirected to the new page where you have to select the service you want to complain. I have mentioned the services below.

  • Posts
  • Telecommunications
  • Banking
  • Insurance
  • Health & Family welfare
  • External Affairs
  • Petroleum & Natural Gas
  • Others (Min/Depart/Stae Govt)

For example, I choosed the “Telecommunications” department. Once you have selected the department then the website will list out all the categories. You have to select the category you want to file complaint.

After that, describe your issue briefly on the respective input box. Finally, submit the application. Your complaint will be successfully registered on the PM Complaint Cell.

The website will show the acknowledgement number also known as registration number. With the help of registration number and your mobile number, you can able to track the status of your application.
