What is PAN Card?
PAN is a Permanent Account Number issues by the Indian Income Tax Department. PAN is necessary thing in India. If you have bank account then you must need to link PAN with bank.
The main purpose of PAN is to prevent tax evasion. You can apply PAN card in two ways. Those are,

Apply Instant PAN with Aadhaar – Step By Step Guide
Important Note:- Before going to apply instant PAN with Aadhaar, make sure Aadhaar details are correct because the details in Aadhaar will be used for PAN card. If anything wrong then you have make correction in both Aadhar card and PAN card.
Open the Apply Instant PAN with Aadhaar page. The website will look like the below image.
Eligibility:
- You must be a major(18+)
- Make sure you have never been alloted a PAN
- Your mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar number
- Your complete date of birth(DD-MM-YYYY) must be available on Aadhaar card
You have to enter your Aadhaar number for PAN allotment and input the captcha code correctly. Read the eligibility criteria and check the “I confirm that” box and click the “Generate Aadhaar OTP” button.
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and validate by clicking the “Validate Aadhaar OTP and Continue” button.
You will be redirected to the “Validate Aadhar Details” page where you have to check out whether all the details are correct or not. If the details are correct check the “I accept that” box and submit the application by clicking the “Submit PAN Request” button.
Instant PAN Download | Status Check
After submitting the application, instant PAN will be generated within 10 minutes. You can check the status of your application online.
- Open the Instant PAN Download page
- Input your Aadhar Number
- Fill up the captcha
- Submit the form
If the instant PAN is generated, you can download the soft copy of the PAN card. If you want a physical card then you have to pay Rs.50. An instant PAN soft copy is enough for the bank.
